For the Bvlgari Hotel Beijing's first anniversary, we created an exhibition that honored not just the brand's silversmith heritage, but also celebrated three core values: handcrafting, craftsmanship, and cultural preservation. We explored traditional Chinese handicrafts by partnering with a book featuring 108 artisans from across China.

We reimagined how traditional pieces could be displayed using contemporary techniques. For example, intricately detailed jade snuff bottles with butterfly motifs were placed in large black boxes with tiny 1cm viewing holes, creating an intimate and surprising viewing experience that contrasted with conventional display methods.

The exhibition showcased nine master craftspeople representing China's finest artistic traditions - each selected not only for their exceptional skill but also for their commitment to passing these techniques to future generations.
